Rosemilk and NaNoWriMo

Rosemilk Part One is on sale at all the usual locations:

Smashwords.com: Rosemilk Part One

Amazon.com: Rosemilk Part One
BN.com:  Rosemik Part One

As always, I prefer Smashwords because I get a bigger slice o' the cake.

Since I'm writing Rosemilk as part of National Novel Writing Month, I plan on doing a new part every week (posting the next part on Friday or Saturday). This is leading to a huge flurry of writing and editing on my part, so please forgive any minor grammatical and/or spelling mistakes. At the end of the month I'll be posting the whole thing as one novel, with a special discount for anyone on Smashwords.

And I plan on having a special compilation for the begining of December. Think huge. This, of course, is because December is the month everyone buys a ridicilous amount of material goods for one another to celebrate certain religions. Or not. And I don't know what says "Happy Holidays" better than a big book full of erotica.

Milking the O'Malleys passes Gretchen's Twins

Milking the O'Malleys passed Gretchen's Twins in popularity this past week on Amazon's Kindle store (in terms of current ranking, not on overall sales). I'm not sure how I feel about this. I want all my writing to be popular, but to see one pass the other feels...odd.

NaNoWriMo Day 1

2532 words in one day. Not bad. I've done more when I've been in the groove (over 5000). Planning here is key.
Title is currently Rosemilk. It's another lactation story. I think I'll post to Smashwords, KDP, and BN.com in weekly updates. We'll see.
Tentative cover:

Breast Milk Champion

Let's hear it for Alicia Richman, 28, from Granbury, TX. MILF. Lactating mother. Beautiful. World record holder.

Here's the link to the article about her: Milk Champ

INo good pictures of her breasts, sadly. No word on her husband's position on her donations. If he's a milk fetishist, she probably  produced a lot more than the 86 gallons she donated.

You're not actually buying a book...

Link to the article: License to read versus physical book

Just a reminder when buying anything digital, you're not buying an physical object (book, CD, DVD, etc). You're buying the license to read/listen/view the material covered by the license.

I'm half-and-half on this issue. With Amazon and iBooks (and presumably Barnes and Noble) you're just buying the license to read. I've never bothered reading the licensing agreement, so I'm going with the idea that the license has no termination date. If your e-retailer revokes your license before the end of the licensing period, they should refund your money (unless there is some egregious violation of the terms of use) or whatever portion remains before the license expires.

One of the downsides to digital books over traditional dead tree books.

Breasts in the news...

...I'm against beauty contests because of a lot of reason, but it all boils down to one thing: they're stupid. One person's standard of beauty doesn't necessarily apply to anyone else's.

So of course China has beauty contests. One includes the rule that the women's nipples must be 7.8 inches (20 cm) apart. WTF?

Link to the article: Nipples 7.8 inches apart

I love breasts in all shapes and sizes and would never judge a woman on the distance between her nipples.
